The Western Isles has an astonishing diversity in the natural landscape from rugged hills and moorlands to white sandy beaches. The 150 mile stretch of islands which make up the Outer Hebrides is an unspoilt haven for wildlife the waters are home to basking sharks, dolphins, otters and whales.

There are a host of experiences on offer with well known icons such as Callanish Stones, The Broch in Lewis, St Clement’s Church in Harris and Kisimul Castle in Barra to visit. You can’t travel far in these islands without coming upon a site of archaeological or historical significance.

If you enjoy the outdoors there are a number of activities to partake in including mountain biking, canoeing and kayaking, guided walks, climbing, abseiling, surfing, windsurfing or yachting.
